Our story
In 2005, just as Boracay was growing into the global destination we know today, a small group of island-loving folk found themselves drawn to a quieter corner of the island: Bulabog Beach.
What started as a humble 4-bedroom homestay — then the only one in Bulabog — has grown into The Lazy Dog Bed and Breakfast, built around a beautiful, century-old evergreen tree.
We may have grown, but we’ve kept our soul: a love for slow mornings, dogs on the porch, friendly hellos, and long breakfasts.

Have a bite
Our little café serves up comfort food, good coffee, and island favorites — the perfect spot to chill, catch up with friends, or get some work done in a relaxed, breezy setting.
Breakfast runs from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in the garden, and the kitchen stays open until 10:00 pm. It’s named in memory of our beloved Golden Retriever, Whiskey.
Dogs on the porch
There have always been dogs here. Bring yours — they stay in the room with you, and service dogs are always welcome.
A golden retriever and the original Lazy Dog — the one our logo was drawn from.
Also a golden retriever. The garden café carries his name, in his memory.
Chili was a beloved part of the family. Miel is our current resident four-pawed storyteller.

Where you’ll be
Bulabog is Boracay’s kitesurfing and windsurfing side — calm, tucked away from the loud nightlife, but close enough to still carry that indescribable old Boracay charm.
White Beach sunsets are a short walk or e-trike ride across the island. We’ll tell you exactly how to get here from Caticlan, Kalibo or the Batangas ferry.
